Obituary of Teodoro Briones

Teodoro Briones, age 67, died on Monday, September 30, 2013, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY. Born and raised in the Philippines, he moved to the United States living in Jersey City prior to moving to Warren sixteen years ago. Teodoro was a Dentist with his own practice in Jersey City since 1993. He attended the University of the East College of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines and NYU School of Dentistry. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Teodoro was a member of Bukas Loob sa Diyos (BLD) in Newark which is a prayer group and enjoyed golfing and biking. Surviving is his loving wife Gilda (Salcedo) Briones; his son Eugene Briones of Warren; daughters Alexandra Briones of Warren and Andrea Briones and her Fiancee Maurice Malochee of Silver Spring, MD; brothers Lorenzo Briones, Magtanggol Briones and Gregorio Briones; sister Susan Suyao. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd from 5-9 p.m. and on Friday, October 4th, from 5-9 p.m.
