Obituary of Lisa Gail Schmeisser

North Plainfield: Lisa Schmeisser, age 48, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Arista Care at Cedar Oaks on Durham Rd. in South Plainfield after a long illness. Lisa was predeceased by her father, William R. Schmeisser formerly of North Plainfield, her maternal grandparents, Hazel and William Purchase of Lyndhurst; her paternal grandparents, Marie and William Schmeisser, formerly of Bloomfield and Lauderdale Lakes, FL. She was also predeceased by her Aunts Barbara (Purchase) DeVogel and Audrey (Schmeisser) Wary. Ms. Schmeisser is survived by her mother Gail A. Schmeisser of North Plainfield; sisters Lori N. Schmeisser also of North Plainfield and Amy B. Slyvchak, and her husband Mark R. Slyvchak and loving niece Hailey Marie Slyvchak of South Plainfield. Lisa has many dear devoted, friends, cousins and families whom she and family cared about deeply. Lisa Gayle Schmeisser was a 1985, Graduate of North Plainfield High School and a 1986 Honor Graduate of Stafford Hall of Business in Summit, NJ. She graduated as an Administrative Secretary with positions in DeLoitte and Touche in North Jersey, Bohler Engineering in Warren and RM Termite Pest Control Company in Somerset. The viewing will take place at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ on Sunday, May 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday May 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jean Holmes officiating. Cremation is private.
