Obituary of Kenneth Noel Sausville
Kenneth Noel Sausville Sr., 76 of Warren, passed away on June 14, 2015 after battling end-stage dementia. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the eldest child of the late Clifford F. Sausville and Camille Pignataro Clower. Raised in South Orange and a graduate of Columbia High School, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and served at Willow Grove Naval Air Station for 6 years.
He received a B.S. in Dairy Husbandry from Delaware Valley College. For 42 years he was an employee of United Airlines at Newark Airport. He also taught 7th grade Science at Cedarcroft School in South Plainfield.
Ken lived what he loved—skiing Breckenridge, sitting by the beach in Bayhead, and having Lilliput Farm in the Watchung Mountains, complete with goats, a pony and two wonderful children Kenneth and Gretchen. He was a member of the Watchung Volunteer Fire Department, Boy Scout leader of Troop 32, and parishioner of St. Mary's - Stony Hill.
He is predeceased by his father, mother, step-mother Adeline Dellosso Sausville, and his brother Robert Clower.
He is survived by his brother Peter Sausville of Ramsey, sister Sandra Wotanowski of Toms River, former wife Linda Sausville Daume of Watchung and children Kenneth Noel Sausville Jr. of Warren and Rev. Gretchen Noelle Sausville of West Hartford, CT.
Visitation will be on Thursday June 18th, from 4pm-8pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung, NJ. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, June 19th at 10am at St. Mary's-Stony Hill Church, 225 Mountain Blvd. Watchung, NJ.
