Obituary of James L. Huff

James Louis Huff, age 84, died on Sunday, June 28th, 2015, at his home in North Plainfield. Born in Annandale, he had been a lifelong resident of North Plainfield. Jimmie served in the Navy during the Korean War. Prior to retiring he worked as a Relocation Specialist for Bekins Moving & Storage in Plainfield for many year. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Italian American Club. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, spending time with his family and loved dancing with his wife of sixty-two years. Surviving are his loving wife Rosemary Ignoscia Huff; his sons Mark Louis Huff and his wife Donna, Brian James Huff and his wife Janet and Eric John Huff and his wife Kelly; grandchildren Luke Thomas James Huff and Sofia Rose Huff and his sister Alice Garwacke. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's RC Church, North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
