Obituary of Angela Campestre

Angela (Riccardi) Campestre, age 87, died on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Born and raised outside of Naples, Italy, Angela met and married her husband Arnold while he was serving overseas during World War II. She had resided in Plainfield before moving to Toms River, Arizona, Florida and recently back to NJ. Prior to retiring Angela worked for many years for Electrical Industry, Murray Hill, NJ. Since returning back to NJ she was a member of St. Luke's RC Church in Ho-Ho-Kus and enjoyed playing bingo. Angela loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Arnold Campestre in 1996 and her son-in-law Victor Carotenuto. Surviving is her son Gus Campestre and his wife Betty of Mahwah; her daughter Elvira Carotenuto; 5 grandchildren Craig and his wife Nicole, Nick and his wife Maggie, Theresa, Lisa and her husband Patrick and Michael Carotenuto; six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's RC Church, 340 North Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funeral, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung, NJ.
