Obituary of Matilda V. Horvath

Matilda V. Horvath Matilda V. Horvath. Age 73, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. She was born in the Bronx and raised in Jamesburg before moving to Green Brook 45 years ago. Mrs. Horvath was an accountant for Ameridia in Somerset. She was a former member of the Hungarian American Athletic Club in New Brunswick. Mrs. Horvath was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling especially to Europe. She is predeceased by her husband, Stephen Horvath. Surviving are her son, Stephen J. Horvath and his wife, Elizabeth; her daughter, Heidi A. Horvath and her grandchildren, Hanna Ashlynn, Gwyneth Riley and Stephen Michael. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th from 2 to 6 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by entombment at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery.
