Obituary of Amelia V. Dellaperute

Amelia V. (DeCola) Dellaperute, age 86, died on Monday, October 28, 2013, at the House of Good Shepherd in Hackettstown. Born in Bound Brook, she had resided in Plainfield for many years before moving to Wantage twenty-eight years ago. Amelia was a communicant of St. Monica's RC Church and a member of the Leisure Club and Sussex/Wantage over fifty club. She was a homemaker who took pride in her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Fred Dellaperute in 2004 and her daughter Debra Herrick in 2012. Surviving is her daughter Darlene Allen and her husband Rick of Colombia, NJ; four grandchildren Lucas and his wife Chrissy, Marc, Jacob and Leanne and her husband Bruce; seven great-grandchildren Brad, Mallory, Turner, Blake, Faye, Riley and Chase. A private graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
