Obituary of Jerry Hachey

Gillette: Jerry Hachey, age 93, died on December 31, 2015 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. Mr. Hachey was born in Canada and had resided there for many years before moving to the United States. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Hachey worked in Summit as a mason for Prisco. Mr. Hachey honorably served in the Canadian Army during World War II He is predeceased by his wife Jeanne Marie (LeBlanc) Hachey in 2004. Surviving are his four sons Paul Hachey and his wife Dorothy of Millington, Ron Hachey and his wife Carole of Fogelsville, PA, Allan Hachey and his wife Jill of Gillette and Marc Hachey and his wife Mina of Chatham Ma. He is also survived by ten grandchildren Stephanie, Christopher, Amy, Elisa, Jeremy, Emily, Matthew, Jennifer, Adam and Sara, and 2 great grandchildren, Lucy and Juliette. A visitation will be held on Sunday January 3, 2015 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will begin on Monday January 4th at 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Stirling.
