Obituary of George P. Hlavka

George P. Hlavka Warren: George P. Hlavka, age 91, died on Monday, January 18, 2016 at his home in Warren. He was born in Newark and grew up in Livingston and lived in Warren for the past 60 years. Mr. Hlavka served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He worked for Burrough's Corporation as a Tool & Die maker for many years. Mr. Hlavka was a Communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and putter around his home which he built himself. Surviving are his wife, Anna Van Winkle; his daughters, Ellen Figueredo, Patricia Hendricks and Kathleen Friden and 4 grandchildren.
