Obituary of Jane Ann Philippi

Three Bridges: Jane Ann Philippi, age 84, died on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was born and raised in Plainfield and lived in Green Brook before moving to Three Bridges 12 years ago. Mrs. Philippi was a homemaker and an avid reader. She is predeceased by her first husband, John V. Gleason, Jr. in 1967 and her second husband, Matthew Philippi in 2002. Surviving are her children, Ann Marie Gleason, Elizabeth LaTorre and her husband, Dominick, Susan Gleason and her husband, Vincent Gagliardi and Jennifer Orecchio and her husband, Dwayne; her sister, Dorothy Moore and her grandchildren, Jon, Chris, Melissa, Nicole, Jackson, Samantha and Danielle. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4th from 4 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's Church in North Plainfield. Interment of ashes will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
