Obituary of Irene L. Evans

Irene L. (Lambrecht) Evans, age 75, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at CareOne in Morristown. Born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, she was raised in Saddle Brook, before moving to Warren in 1968, most recently residing in Morristown. Prior to retiring in 1966, Irene worked as a Service Representative for NJ Bell in Fair Lawn. Irene had an Associate's Degree from Paterson Business College and was a member of the local Elks Lodge. In her spare time Irene loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving is her son Robert Derek Evans; daughters Kerri Talmadge and her husband Dan, and Lisa Evans; brother Raymond Lambrecht and his wife Sherry; eight grandchildren; Tyler and Max Evans, Stephanie Enright, Morgan Bastian, Dylan and Chase Talmadge, and Christopher and Jane Anderson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9:30 a. m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday, November 8th, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
