Obituary of Gertrude Florentine

Gertrude Florentine (nee Zollo) Bedminster: Gertrude Florentine (nee Zollo), Bedminster Centurion died peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her home in Bedminster surrounded by her family. She was born in Westfield and had lived in Warren before moving to Bedminster in 1986. Mrs. Florentine graduated from Westfield High School and attended nursing school at United Hospital in Port Chester, NY. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Bedminster and belonged to the Bound Brook Senior Citizens. She is predeceased by her husband, Nemo Florentine in 2012: her son, Frederick W. Florentine in 1975. She is survived by sisters Bobbe Caraviello & Dolores Donatelli & loving family & friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4-6 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church in Far Hills. Interment is private.
