Robert T. Poultney
Warren: Robert T. Poultney, age 69, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was born in Newark and had lived in Warren for 36 years.
Mr. Poultney served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was self-employed, owning a Trucking Company and a Contracting business.
Mr. Poultney attended Our Lady of the Mount parish.
He enjoyed biking, skiing, boating and collecting antique cars but most of all, he loved spending time with family.
Mr. Poultney is predeceased by his brother, Timothy Poultney.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Regenye Poultney; his children: John Poultney and his wife, Jennifer of Ohio, Wendy DiLeonardo and her husband, Vincent of Far Hills, Kelly McCloskey of Pt. Pleasant, Kevin Poultney and his wife, Kathryn of Massachusetts and Paige Baltrym and her husband, Jon of Virginia; his grandchildren, Marissa, Logan, Tatum, Michael, Mia, Patrick, Ella, Thomas, Sienna and Sophia; his brothers, William Poultney and David Poultney and his sister, Patricia Eccleston and her husband, Kevin.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
