Obituary of Jean Francis Bellone

Fanwood: Jean Francis (Metner) Bellone, age 73, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was born in Wilkes- Barre, PA and raised in Plainfield and lived in Plainfield before moving to Fanwood over 45 years ago. Mrs. Bellone was a Nurse's Aide at the Ashbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotch Plains. She created award winning porcelain dolls from start to finish using her own kiln and considerable sewing talents. She was a talented seamstress could sew anything, especially all types of clothing and curtains. She enjoyed getting together with her friends to do arts and crafts and was known as the Victorian Lady. She is predeceased by her sister, Helen Christiansen. Surviving are her husband, Patrick Bellone, Sr; her son, Patrick Bellone, Jr. and his partner, Kyvan; her daughters, Marie Morgan and her husband, Danny and Debbie Zotti and her husband, Bobby; her sister, Marie Haberley; her brother, Anthony Metner, Jr. : her grandchildren, Michael Zotti, Matthew Morgan and his fiancé, Katie and James Morgan and his fiancé, Cassandra and a great-grandchild, Kallie. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 am on Monday at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains. Interment will be at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
