Obituary of James Clarke

James Clarke, age 55, died suddenly on Sunday, June 5, 2016 in Long Beach Island. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Old Bridge prior to moving to Watchung 14 years ago. Jimmy was the owner of Bedrooms Unlimited in Union. In his spare time he enjoyed Porsche racing and boating on the "Laura Ann" his boat named after his daughter. Jimmy loved spending time with his family, especially at his summer home in LBI. Jimmy was predeceased by his mother Patricia Aylward Clarke in 2007. Surviving is his loving wife Jane; his children Laura and Peter; his father James; his sisters Cathy Maguire and her husband Ed and Maureen Wooster and her husband Scott. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Stirling. Cremation is private.
