Obituary of Pamela Wentzheimer
Pamela Ann Flannery Wentzheimer, restaurateur and Visiting Angel, died suddenly Thursday, July 14.
Born in 1952, Pam graduated from the Middlesex County College culinary program in 1991, and re-opened Constantine’s Restaurant on Amboy Avenue in Edison from 1995 -2002.
She went on to work as a teacher’s aide for special needs students in North Brunswick and Metuchen for eight years. Pam was a certified home health aide who was currently enjoying working with the Visiting Angels of Hillsborough.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Pam spent much of her free time attending her family’s sporting events and other activities.
Pam is survived by her husband, Ray Wentzheimer; daughter, Rebecca Capasso New Jersey with Jeff Grunder; her son, Michael Wentzheimer of Maine and his wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Giuseppe, Kayne, Giulia, Madison, Brendon and Seth; her sisters, Barbara Perchaluk, Marita Delmonico, Gail Bronski, Jacqueline Sullivan, Kathleen Schwarz and Beth Flannery; and her mother, Mary E. Flannery. She was predeceased by her father, John J Flannery. She is survived by her close friends, Ava Subbiondo and Michelle Silber and numerous other friends and relatives.
A visitation will be held at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung. Monday July 18, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. A private funeral will be held Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078.
A memorial book will be provided in which the family would appreciate a shared memory, a passage from a poem or perhaps a favorite music lyric. You may also attach a favorite photo.
