Obituary of Gladys Buja

Gladys (Smith) Buja, age 89, died on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at The Chelsea at Montville, Montville, NJ. Born in Quincy, MA she had lived in Woburn, MA for 37 years, before moving to Montville last year. Prior to retiring Gladys worked for the New England Telephone Company in MA as a Service Observer. She was a lifelong member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Predeceased by her husband Alphonse Buja in 2015. Survived by her son Stanley Hamlett; two grandchildren Michelle and David Hamlett; three great-grandchildren Christopher David, Emma Diane and Ava Grace; a sister Norma Smith. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 from 6-6:45 p.m. with a 6:45 p.m. funeral service. Interment will be held at the Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, MA on Friday, August 12, 2016, at 1:30 p.m.
