The Georgian Court University community honors the life of Sr. Mary-Theresa McCarthy, Ph.D., '57. Sr. Mary-Theresa, the legendary French professor who dedicated 55 years of her life to Georgian Court, was a beloved alumna, educator, and friend. We mourn her passing, but celebrate all that she did for Georgian Court and generations of students who learned from her in class and by her example. Alumni, many of whom recall her as Sister Mary Aidan, have said they were blessed that she touched so many lives.
The Mercy Day Mass on September 22 at 2:00 p.m., held on Georgian Court University campus in the Dorothy Marron Chapel, will be offered in Sr. Mary-Theresa's honor.
