Obituary of Adele Lois Dalton
Adele Lois (Collins) Dalton, died on Monday, August 22, 2016, at Arbor Glen in Bridgewater. Born and raised in Maplewood, she had resided in Warren for 48 years.
After raising her children Lois, went back to work as a realtor for Coldwell Banker in Basking Ridge. Lois was a member of Our Lady of the Mount Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She also did volunteer ministry at Runnells Hospital in Berkeley Heights and was a past member of the Altar Rosary Society. Lois was a very devout Catholic, who enjoyed attending Friday Adoration in the Chapel.
Lois was a very generous and loving person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In her spare time Lois loved the Jersey Shore, especially Spring Lake and trips with the Warren Seniors to Atlantic City and the Sands Casino in PA.
Predeceased by Thomas F. Dalton.
Survived by her children Thomas Francis Dalton, Kathleen Dalton, Patricia Dalton, Maureen Dalton and Michael Dalton; 3 grandchildren Erin Callahan, Kate Paquet and her husband Rich and Molly Dalton; 3 great-grandchildren Richard Paul, Luke and James; her brother Patrick Joseph Collins and dear friend Joseph Adest.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, August 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
