Obituary of Gilda Nargi

Gilda J. Nargi Toms River: Gilda J. Nargi, age 97, passed away on Saturday October 15, 2016 at her home in Toms River. Gilda was born in Plainfield had resided there before moving to North Plainfield and most recently Toms River. Prior to her retirement Gilda had worked as a secretary in New York City for two separate coal companies. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church and the alter rosary society in Toms River. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Michelina (Sullo); three sisters Frances Vallin, Ida Capone and Mary Nargi. Gilda is survived by a nephew Richard Vallin and a niece Carol Vallin A mass of the resurrection will be held on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Corner of Watchung and Jackson Ave North Plainfield NJ. The Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains NJ. Donations may be made in her memory to the Visiting Nurse Association of Toms River (Hospice) 1433 Hooper Ave. Toms River NJ 08753 or a charity of your choice. Funeral services are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung NJ.
