Obituary of John Alfred Walker

John Alfred Walker, age 84, passed away on October 31, 2016, at JFK Hospital in Edison. Born and raised in Roselle Park, he has resided in Scotch Plains since 1960. John served in the Army during the Korean War. Prior to retiring he was a self-employed meat processor in Linden and Clark for many years. In his spare time he built motorized boats and airplanes and enjoyed all sports. John was the past Exalted Ruler of the Clark Elks. Predeceased by his wife Eleanore F. Walker Surviving are his two daughters Debra Walker and Patricia Staib; grandson T.J. Staib; great-grandchildren Joshua and Luna Staib; and a sister Ruth Penevolpe; his caregiver Sonia Hall and his 5 dogs. A cremation was held privately.
