My condolences to Roger's family. The Story family made such an am impact on me as a childhood friend of Carol"s in Grand Island. Even from my young mind, I saw that Roger stood out and above his contemporaries. It is not surprising he had such a good and successful life. I hope he recalled his Grand Island years with fondness.
Please share my condolences with Carol. We became friends in Mrs. Vincent's third grade class after the family's move to Grand Island. Of course, Carol rose to the top of the class. I recall playful, quiet times with her in their beautiful home on Second Street and was in awe of the surroundings, propriety and intelligence of the Story household. I regard Carol as a dear childhood friend and wish her well. My efforts to contact her in the past have not been successful, but I would love to hear from her.
