Obituary of Timothy Shawn Bailey

Timothy Shawn Cox Bailey, age 26, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his home in Plainfield. Timothy was born and raised in Plainfield and was a graduate of Plainfield High School. For the past two years he has enjoyed coaching the Plainfield Cardinals Jr. Pee Wee football team, where he was a mentor to all the younger children. He was a football fan, especially the San Francisco 49ers. Timothy loved spending time with his family and was always joking. Surviving are his parents; Lillie Bailey of Plainfield and Malton Monroe of VA; his beloved fianc, Denisha Bass of Plainfield; his cherished children, Ty'sir Timothy Bailey and Da'maree Allen Bailey; his sisters, Nyree Bailey, Toya Geeston-Monroe and Shakeima Weathington; his aunts, Doris, Sarah, Laheart, Linda, Latania, and Najiyyah; his uncle's, Jeffrey, Allen, Bryan, Michael and Donald. He is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family and loving friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ruth Fellowship Ministries in Plainfield. Viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. at the Church. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
