Obituary of Clarissa Campbell

Clarissa Agatha Campbell nee Mollison died at home in Plainfield, NJ on December 15, 2016. She was surrounded by her husband Lionel, sister Phyllis Mollison and niece Camille Mcleish. Clarissa was born in Kingston, Jamaica on October 19, 1930 to Maude Vassel and John Mollison. She attended Hagley Park Primary School and Greenwich Farm Secondary. After secondary school she pursued a career in Dressmaking. She migrated to London, England in 1952 with the intention of pursuing a nursing career but got sidetracked back to her sewing. She met and married Lionel Campbell on January 26, 1979 in London. They migrated to the US in 1980 and pursued her delayed nursing career as a Health Aide. She worked with Patient Care Inc of Westfield from 1980- 2002 when she retired. After retirement Clarissa enjoyed traveling between US , Jamaica and London visiting relatives and friends. She is survived by her husband Lionel, Sister - Phyllis Mollison Nieces - Hopelin Mcleish ,aka Faye and Shawnell Vassell Nephews: Errol Mcleish, Keith Vassel, Carlos Vassel, and 9 Great-nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec 21, 2016,Higgins Funeral Home, Plainfield, NJ. Viewing 10am- 12 Noon; Service 12:00- 1:30 pm.
