Obituary of Claire Mullen

Claire Mullen, 81 died peacefully on January 24, 2017 at McAuley Hall Health Care Center Watchung, NJ. Her parents were the late Charles and Alice Burchell Mullen. Claire entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1952 and took the name Sister Mary dePazzi. She began her teaching career in St. James Woodbridge and continued teaching in several catholic schools in the Trenton Diocese. In 1991 she began a career of teaching in several Public Schools in Central Jersey. She spent her last years with the Sisters of Mercy in Watchung and died peacefully at McAuley Hall. She is predeceased by many relatives and will be sadly missed by residents and staff at McAuley, those with whom she taught, long time friends and Sisters of Mercy. Visitation will take place at McAuley Hall Health Care Center, 1633 Highway 22 Watchung on Saturday, January 28, 2017 Wake: 9:00 to 10:30 am Mass of Christian burial: 10:30 am Burial: Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ
