Obituary of Deborah Strecker

Deborah Strecker Warren: Deborah Strecker, age 70, passed away on Friday , February 10, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit with her family by her side. She was born in St. Louis and moved to Chicago in 1976 and then to New Jersey in 1978 and finally to Warren in 1991. She received her Nursing Degree from Union County College. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she was a Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse at Elizabeth General Hospital. Mrs. Strecker loved music and playing the guitar. As a young girl, she would perform at local restaurants in St. Louis. She enjoyed listening to James Taylor. She loved being around animals and had many rescue pets. She was very altruistic and very concerned about other people's well being and was always ready to help. Surviving are her husband, Leopold Strecker, Her step daughter, Beata Strecker; her sister, Meredith Dodge, PhD; her sister-in-law, Cecylia Strecker; her nephew, Daniel and his wife, Aga and their children, Sophia, Dahlia and Emma and her nephew, Bartek and his wife, Agnieszka and their sons.
