Obituary of Leah Armanini

Leah (Bertuzzi) Armanini, age 99, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Brandywine Assisted Living at Middlebrook Crossing in Bridgewater. Born in Torrington, CT, she grew up in Jersey City before moving to Brooklyn where she resided until 1994, she has lived in Warren since then. Leah worked for many years in sales at A&S in Brooklyn. Leah loved spending time in town, talking with everyone, she especially enjoyed her shore house and spending time with her family. Predeceased by her husband Albert in 2000. Survived by her loving daughter Laura Rivera and her husband Jose and her two grandsons Adam and his wife Jill and Nick Rivera. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 6-9 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
