To Marie and the Family o f Ken,
My sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences. I just became aware of Ken's passing yesterday during Mass at St. Luke's. I am so sorry that I did not know and was not able to offer my thoughts and prayers in person. Ken was a wonderful man and an integral part of St. Luke's. He and Jack became instant friends and so I was able to also get to know him. He's been missed for some time now and I know you are all hurting.
I will have a Mass offered for Ken but I needed you to know that I understand how you are feeling and wish you some comfort at this very, very difficult time.
With love, Anne

To the family my sincerest sympathy.
I was graced and honored to know Ken when I arrived at the Parish of St. Luke. He, his wife and family are exemplary. It was a joy each Sunday to meet Ken when he would show up for mass. Part of our work as priests is to be close to families when they are faced with the death of a loved one. I share the sadness and loss. May God welcome Ken HOME and offer the grace to each of the family members to bear the pain as Christ teaches and to see, in time, the HOME to which Ken has gone.
My prayers and heartfelt best wishes
Fr. Lancelot
