Obituary of Clyde J. McCarthy, Jr.

Clyde J. McCarthy, Jr. Clyde J. McCarthy, "C.J.", age 48, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at RWJ at Somerset in Somerville. He was born in Somerville and spent most of his life in North Plainfield. C.J. was a graduate of North Plainfield High School and had attended Raritan Valley Community College. He was a Communicant of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in North Plainfield. C.J. was a Customer Service Representative for Cable Vision in in Newark. He loved spending time with friends and family and enjoyed photography. C.J. is survived by his parents, Clyde J. McCarthy, Sr. and Mary McCarthy and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Friday at 9 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church in North Plainfield. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
