Obituary of Tina Ciallella

Tina Ciallella, (nee Borzi) age 91, of Whitehouse Station, NJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, May 15, 2017. Tina was born in Newark, NJ and lived most of her married life in Union, NJ. Tina was married to her loving and devoted husband Anthony, for 70 years. Traveling, theater, and opera filled their world. But the most joyous part of her life were her children Christine and her husband Billy Mazza, Donna and her husband Joe Wozniak, Ronnie and his wife Kiersten Ciallella and Sandie and her husband Ken Shurko. Her grandchildren Tana Landau, Danielle and her husband Rob Glover and Anthony Ciallella along with her great-grandson Jaxson, completed the picture. She is survived by her sister Lucy Parese, along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Church, Warren. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tina can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org
