Obituary of Albert Coletta

Albert Coletta, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born and raised in Plainfield, he had resided in Martinsville for 56 years. Albert worked 40 years at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill retiring in 1995, as a Supervisor. He was a firefighter with the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department since 1963, and served as Fire Commissioner from 1967-1978. Albert also served with the National Guard. Survived by his loving wife Lois (Maasch) Coletta; daughters Linda Coletta Grzeszkiewicz, Elaine Coletta Mott and her husband Allen and Darlene Coletta Kalafsky and her husband James; sister Madeline Lombardi and her husband Dominick; grandchildren Amanda and Stephanie Peruta, Ryan Grzeszkiewicz and Andrea and Alyssa Kalafsky; step-grandchildren Cody and Emily Mott. Cremation will be private and a memorial service will be held at a time to be announced.
