Obituary of Stanley Stroz

Stanley Stroz, age 89, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge. Born and raised in Elizabeth, he had resided in Watchung for 45 years before moving to Basking Ridge 3 years ago.

Prior to retiring Stanley worked for PSE&G in Elizabeth as Supervisor for the lineman crews. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Stony Hill Church in Watchung, a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW and the Watchung Rescue Squad for 15 years. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, football, bowling and was a Civil War and WWI buff.

Survived by his loving wife Helen (Kociolek) Stroz and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung. Burial will be held privately.
