Obituary of Helen Martino

Helen Martino, age 52, of Warren, NJ, passed away on June 30, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.  Helen was born in Queens, NY to Gladys Nunez and Paul Mardesic on January 28, 1965.

She went to school and grew up in Queens, NY.  She married Christopher Martino on August 29, 1998 in South Orange, NJ.  She Graduated from Baruch University.  She was a banker who worked for Barclays (where she met her husband), Citibank and Investors Bank.  Helen loved to cook and travel.  The joy of her life was her two boys.

Helen is survived by her husband, Christopher Martino; her children, Alexander Martino and Nicholas Martino; her sister Monica Mardesic; her mother, Gladys Nunez; her nephew,Sammy Armas; her nieces, Angela Guisti and Allison Zzie; her sister-in-law, Ann Marie Zzie and her brother-in-law, Alan Zzie.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Mount Church, 167 Mt. Bethel Road, Warren, NJ 07059, followed by an 11:00 AM Mass of the Resurrection.  Funeral services are under the direction of Higgins Home For Funerals, Watchung, NJ.
