Obituary of Fidel Velasquez Castillo

Fidel Velasquez Castillo, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Progreso, Yoro, Honduras and had lived in North Plainfield for many Years. He worked for White Rose in Carteret. Mr. Castillo was an avid soccer and boxing fan. Surviving are his children, Marcia Velasquaz, Rina Velasquaz, Gisela Velasquaz, Jose Velasquaz, Dinora Jara, Fidel Velasquaz and Adam Velasquez. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 14th from 5 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery of Samptown.
