Obituary of Rose Emma Frank Gould

Rose Emma Frank Gould, age 90, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at her residence in Bridgewater. Born in Plainfield, she resided in Plainfield for 83 years before moving to Bridgewater seven years ago. Mrs. Gould worked as a telephone operator for AT&T in Plainfield and Green Brook, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the AT&T Pioneers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing needlework. Mrs. Gould was predeceased by her husband George S. Gould, Jr. in 1987 and her brother John Joseph Frank, Jr. in 1991. She is survived by her three daughters Rose Ann Gould Soloway, Ann Marie Gould, and Kathleen Reynolds; her two sisters Anne Almasi and Josephine Haurey; one granddaughter Robin Gould McNamara. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment at Titusville United Methodist Cemetery, Titusville, NJ.
