Dear Lackland Family,
"Uncle" Fred was a very special part of our family, and I have such fond memories of our holiday gatherings. He was always someone that you could easily talk to about family, career, travel or anything at all.
He was a wonderful man, incredibly generous, and will certainly be missed. I will keep Fred, and all of you in my prayers during this difficult time.
Sending love your way,
Paula Ann

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth and saw you. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful. God always takes the best. Always in our thoughts. Forever in our hearts. Sincerely, Sandy

The Kenny family expresses its condolences and sends good thoughts to the Lackland family in its time of sorrow. It has been said that the best, most meaningful way to measure a person's life is by looking at the positive impact that person had in the lives of others. By that standard, Mr. Lackland lived an extraordinary life.
With regrets,
Adam Kenny

We wanted to share our condolences with the Lackland family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3, 4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

"Uncle" Fred was a loving soul with a wonderful sense of humor and who was generous to a fault. I enjoyed our Christmas Eve gatherings over the years and playing Santa for his grandchildren (sorry grandkids for the spoiler!). May His Memory be Eternal....

Dear Lackland Family:
We are keeping Fred and your family, especially Donna, in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time of losing a loved one. It was an honor to know Fred as a kindred spirit of the Twin Lakes Community.
I will always remember what Fred said to me at the end of the first TLPOA meeting I chaired as President. "Nice job Madam Pres" with that twinkle in his eyes and a matching smile. I needed that vote of confidence, especially from Fred.
And we remember Fred being so proud to be the first winner of the Tom Hoff trophy, what a legacy for these two friends.
His spirit will be with all of us at Twin Lakes. May Fred Rest in Peace.
Fondly, Barbara and Edson Whitney
