Obituary of Robert Ulrich
Robert Ulrich, age 47 passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 surrounded
by his family at the Center for Hope Hospice center. Bob was born and
raised in Summit, New Jersey but ultimately settled in Bridgewater with
his wife and two sons. Bob was a gifted mechanic and, after his Naval
service worked as an airplane technician at the Morristown Municipal
Airport for his entire career often traveling to interesting places
around the world. However, what Bob loved best was being at home. He
was an active member of the Bayern Verein, Newark and was an award
winning Schuhplattler. When not spending the weekend cruising on his
beloved motorcycle or driving his classic 67 Pontiac Firebird, Bob
enjoyed the shore. He spent many weekends on Long Beach Island and then
later, with his family in Cape May. Some of his most precious memories
was that of he and his sons fishing, cheering his boys on at their
baseball and ice hockey games and sitting by his fireplace with his
wife. He was loved by all who knew him. Bob was the rock of his
family, could truly be counted on and will be deeply and forever missed.
Surviving are his loving wife of 19 years, Valerie, two sons, Carl and
Eric, his brother Richard Ulrich and twin brother Ronald Ulrich, his
wife Jennifer as well as his beloved nieces and nephews Bayley, Brendan,
Charlotte, Courtney, Claire, Kadence and Maicie, his Aunt Elizabeth
Rubner, Aunt Madeline Ulrich and cousin Paul Ulrich, his wife Laura and
their two sons Paul III and Charles along with many loved friends.
