Obituary of John Richard Miarmi

John Richard Miarmi, age 67, passed away on Sunday October 1, 2017 at the Abingdon Care Center in Green Brook. Born in Summit, John had grown up in Mountainside and resided in Green Brook and North Plainfield before moving to Abingdon Care Center five years ago. John worked his entire career as a car mechanic throughout NJ before retiring 12 years ago. He enjoyed car racing but most of all he loved spending time with his family. John is survived by his sister Barbara Mancinelli and her husband Louis of Green Brook; two nephews Louis Mancinelli and his wife Nina and Jason Mancinelli; a niece Allison Kolanko and her husband Evan. He is also survived by two grandnieces Sofia and Lydia. A visitation will be held on Friday October 6, 2017 from 3-6 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. A funeral service will be on Saturday at 10:00 followed by the interment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
