Obituary of Anne D Jennings

Anne (DeFranza) Jennings, age 94, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.  Born and raised in Newark, had lived in North Plainfield andToms River before moving to Watchung 7 years ago.

Anne is former Eucharistic Minister and communicant at St. Joseph’s RC Church in North Plainfield. She is also a former communicant of St. Joseph’s in Toms River.  In her spare time she worked as an advocate for residents in her community to help them obtain full health care benefits. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, mahjong, traveling and long walks.Most of all Anne loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all.

She is predeceased by her husband Warren L Jennings in 2012.

Survived by her children Brian Jennings and his wife Cindy of Watchung, Marilyn Beede and her husband James of Chester, Jeanne Fusco and her husband Fred of New Providence; grandchildren Kristen Robertiello and her husband Ed, Karen Baldwin and her husband David, Steven Fusco and his wife Olivia and Daniel Fusco; great-grandchildren Olivia, Cole, Roman, Mia, Luke and Will.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, North Plainfield. Memorial dontations may be made to The Center For Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.  To send condolences go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com
