Elizabeth Ann Zoda

North Plainfield: Elizabeth Ann( Herbst) Zoda, age 88, died on Friday, October 20, 2017 at her home. She was a lifelong North Plainfield resident.

Mrs. Zoda was a homemaker.

She was a Communicant of St. Luke's Church in North Plainfield, an active member of the Rosary Society and volunteered every Friday for Bingo. She also volunteered at Muhlenberg Hospital and Green Brook Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Zoda was an avid reader and loved rescuing animals. She was a NY Met and NY Giant fan.

She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Zoda in May 2017.

Surviving are her son, Michael Zoda and his wife, Kathleen; her daughter, Patricia Marino and her grandchildren, Patrick Marino, Timothy Zoda and Tayler Zoda.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Church , North Plainfield followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung.
