Obituary of Andrew C. Van Jura
Hillsborough: Andrew C. Van Jura Jr., age 66, passed away on Saturday November 4, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Somerset in Somerville NJ. Born in Bayonne, Andrew had grown up in Warren and had resided in Hillsborough for the past 32 years.
Andrew was an avid sports fan; who loved watching and cheering for the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers. Camping was also a passion in Andrew’s life. He was a life member of the Somerville Elks #1068.
He is predeceased by his parents Barbara and Andrew C. Van Jura Sr.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife Celeste Van Jura of 31 years, three children Jennifer Lynn Wierzba, Andrew C. Van Jura IV and Nicole Baber; three brothers Jeffrey S. Van Jura and his wife Victoria, Paul M. Van Jura and his wife Jo Ann and Peter Van Jura and his wife Jeanie; a sister Kathleen Szakacs and her husband Steve. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday November 7th 2017 from 5 pm to 9pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. The funeral services will begin at 9:45 am on Wednesday at the funeral home followed by an 11:00 am mass of the resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel in Warren. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington NJ.
