Obituary of Matthew Philip Cardiello

Matthew P. Cardiello, 34, of Englewood, NJ passed away on Thursday, Nov.9th, 2017. Matthew was the beloved son of Dr. Gary and Janet (Hale) Cardiello of Warren, brother of Timothy M. Cardiello of Brattleboro, VT and Christian J. Cardiello of Saranac Lake, NY.
 
     Matthew was born in Jersey City and spent his early school years in South Orange, NJ. He graduated from Warren Middle School and Watchung Hills High School ,class of 2000. He attended Northeastern University in Boston.
 
     Matthew loved music from an early age and became a talented guitar player. He passed on his love of music to his younger brothers. He was an avid sports fan especially of his favorite team, the NY Yankees.
 
     He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Roy and Josephine Hale, his paternal grandparents, Dr. Frank and Mary Cardiello, his godfather/uncle Frank John Cardiello and his cousin Melissa DeFilippo.
 
      A mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady of the Mount Church on Thursday, Nov. 16th at 10:30 am.  Funeral Services are under the direction of Higgins Home For Funerals, Watchung, NJ.
