Obituary of Joan A. Zambetti

Joan A. Zambetti age 81, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center. She was born in Plainfield, raised in South Plainfield and resided in Watchung for most of her life until moving to Toms River in 1984. She was a former communicant of St. Mary's Stony Hill Church. She was a past president of the WOWS club in Toms River. She loved going to the boardwalk especially to the Coin Castle in Seaside Heights. The things she loved the most were holiday cooking, boat rides with her family, attending Chinese auctions with her friends, collecting snow globes and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband Ronald L. Zambetti in 2012. Mrs. Zambetti is survived by her son, Ron Zambetti, Jr., daughter, Donna Radzik, two grandaughters, Amanda and Katie Radzik, and special friends Sandra and Brittany Burton, and beloved dog Bella. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral Services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Higgins Home For Funerals, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass Of Resurrection at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung. The interment will be at St.Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Mephis, TN 38101-9950.
