Obituary of Anna May Greybek

Anna May "Mimi" Greybek, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2017, at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Swoyersville, PA, she grew up in Chester, PA before moving to Maryland, North Dakota, Springfield and finally settling in Warren in 1968. Mimi graduated from Notre Dame High School in Chester, PA; she then obtained her Nursing degree from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Allentown, PA. In 1969, Mimi started working as an office manager alongside her husband Dr. Dan Greybek in his Veterinary practice in Warren. She continued to work alongside her daughter, Dr. Donna, at the office until her death. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Mount Church, Warren where, in her younger years, she was an active part of the CYO. In her spare time she enjoyed sports, especially the NY Jets and Somerset Patriots, attending the theater, traveling, Girl Scouts and going out to eat with her family and friends. Mimi was always ready to go and always willing to try new things. Her happiest times were spent with her family. Her children and especially her grandchildren were a source of joy. She will be missed tremendously by those who loved her the most. Mimi was predeceased by her husband Dr. Dan Greybek in 2014. She is survived by her children Daniel Scott Greybek and his wife Wendy, Danielle Suzanne Greybek and Dr. Donna Greybek-Caprioni and her husband Mark; her grandchildren Jarrid and Nadine. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Church, 167 Mt. Bethel Road, Warren. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Our Lady of the Mount Social Ministry.
