Having to let go of you has come too soon in life yet your fight has seemed endless. You have left me with so much to reflect on and look back with a smile. You have taught me that persistence pays off, love conquers all, what really matters in life and how time should never be taken for granted! My memories with you will live on forever..baking in your kitchen with that blue bonnet hat, bringing me to your pre-school class and letting me feel so special "helping"you teach, speeding around town in the charger as i called you speedy gonzolous, teaching me all about little rabbit foo-foo and Mrs".Magilakuty"? Lol..you always had a smile on your face and made sure i did too! I love you and miss you so much! You and Uncle Al were always an inspiration to me through years i saw you wait for God to send you an angel, you climb mountains and fall, go through good times and bad, have your ups and downs but in the end you were both always hand in hand..until the very end! I know you're with grandma and Grandpa now, cancer free(you kicked its butt)and hanging out with Elvis! I love you and will see you again

Dearest Stacy and Al, Our deepest condolences to you. Sheryl will always be with you in spirit and you will see her everyday all around you. This 2017, I lost my mother ( August 16) and now my loving friend. It has taken me several days to digest your departure, my dearest friend, my one and only friend, and now I have the strength to put into words what You meant to me. Sheryl, you were an Angel in disguise to me and my 2 year old Nicole when we moved to Edison, New Jersey in 1985 to December, 1987. You introduced yourself with that big friendly and beautiful smile when we put our daughters in preschool. Since that day, you welcome my small family to yours with arms wide open. You were fun and caring. I will cherish the memories, the times Nicole and I went over to your house to play and drink Coffee and the support you showed me when I was scared and fighting thyroid cancer. Sheryl, you are the example of the meaning of loving, caring, smart and passionate in whatever you put your mind and heart into. My Friend,Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your heart and soul in friendship, and support during my years in New Jersey. I love you my friend. Stacy you have been blessed with a beautiful mommy and Al, you were the luckiest man she picked you. Sheryl, Stacy and Al, together built beautiful memories of a life well lived.

Dear Allen & Stacy, I'm so sorry to hear about Sherrill's passing. You two have been there for her always. She loved you both so much. She often spoke of things that you did for her and with her. Nothing was too much. I wish I was still living in NJ. I could have visited with her and helped in any way . She was so positive in dealing with her illness. All she wanted was to be well and enjoy her husband and daughter. You were her rock. Truly loving people!
I have fond memories of Sherrill. One was a time when we were getting ready for a
dance but not sure what what we were going to wear. She opened her closet and without blinking an eye said, "borrow whatever you want." Many years later, my first child, Jennie, was born.. Many times I would go over and visit with Sherrill (this was before she started to work outside the home). She'd make coffee and we'd visit. You could talk about anything with Sherrill. Several times before the holidays, we'd make cookies together. We'd laugh and talk and of course, eat. A few times, when I visited in NJ, she and Allen, offered to have me stay with them. They even picked me up from the airport. Nothing ever seemed to be too much for them. I've often said that they (Allen & Sherrill) would give you the shirt off their backs, if you needed it. In closing I want to say, I will miss you, Sherrill. May you rest in peace. You were one of the kindest, friendliest, and courageous person I know. I love you. Until we meet again.

Sheryl went through so much over the last ten years but she did it with grace and dignity. I rarely heard her complain or express anger - she only talked about being determined to keep going and live.to beat cancer and enjoy her husband and daughter.
Best memories.....when she had her daughter Stacy! Sheryl absolutely blossomed and became the woman she wanted to be - a wife AND mother. The second was when she started her job and decided to have her own "dressing room" Allen dutifully obliged and converted a bedroom into a closet for all of her clothes and a makeup table! The lady did everything to the fullest!
We will always remember you and 40 plus years of memories!
Your Sister in Law,
Cecily

Sherrill was the type of person that you just had to love. I met her less than 3 years ago and feel as though she was always a part of my life. Thoughtful, caring and brave. I will miss you dearly my friend. To Allen, Stacy and Janie: May the compassion and love of family and friends help to lessen your sorrow during the days ahead.

Sherl was a good friend, and the first friend I made when I moved to South Plainfield almost 21 years ago. We worked together at Dunkin Donuts, and use to have so much fun. I have some great memories from those days! Sherl will be deeply missed!
I am unable to get to the viewing and funeral, but please know that all of you are in my prayers.
