Obituary of Charlotte Green

Charlotte (Hoff) Green, age 87, passed away on Monday January 1, 2018 at the Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center in Somerset NJ. Mrs. Green was born in Phillipsburg NJ and had resided in Bridgewater for over 53 years. Mrs. Green is a graduate of the Somerset Hospital Nursing School in Somerville. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Green had worked as a registered nurse for several hospitals and nursing homes in the area. Prior to her retirement she worked as a receptionist for a local law firm. Mrs. Green enjoyed spending the cold months at Disney World and summers camping in PA with her late husband. Predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years George Green, her son Kenneth Green in 2014, a granddaughter Samantha Roper and her parents Clara and Wilmer Hoff. She is Survived by her daughters Kathleen A. Wallace and her husband Stephen; Maureen Roper and her husband David; grandchildren Jayson Wallace and his wife Jeanine; Melissa Wallace-Castro and her husband Jeffry; Janelle and Brianna Roper; great-grandchildren Gavin and Lucas Wallace-Castro; Logan and Christopher Wallace. Mrs. Green is also survived by two nephews Robbie and Glenn and a niece Lynn. A visitation will be held on Friday 5, 2018 from 10 am to 11am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ, followed by a graveside entombment at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung. Donations in his name can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville.
