Dear Conway Family, I was the secretary to the Superintendent in Middlesex for over ten years and had the pleasure of working with Bob....He was an impeccably dressed GENTLEMAN...of the first degree...a class act...a rare find in today's times. I am fortunate to have a husband like him...a man of principle....perhaps it is the Brooklyn background! I always trusted Bob and we shared many of the same opinions on district decisions and goings on. He retired quite a while before me but he honored me by coming to my retirement party. I was told he was the first person to respond to the invitation....Such a nice, nice man who will be missed by the family he always spoke so highly of....and his many friends. My heart and my prayers go out to all of you. Sincerely, Jane Andresen

I will always cherish the memories of spending summers at the shore with the Conway Crew. The shore was clearly Uncle Rob's "happiest place on earth". Uncle Rob was loved and respected by so many and his smile will be missed. Rest in Peace Uncle Robert.

Dear Gracie and family,
Kathy and I were so saddened to learn of Bob's death last weekend.
We both remember the time we left a party at NSC, piled into a car, drove to "Conway's Bar" in Brooklyn, played darts, had a few, and returned home safely! Bob was a special guy and we always enjoyed our times with you.
We know how close your family and friends are, and that their love and strength will help you during this difficult time.
"What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us" Helen Keller
Bob is part of all of us.
Love, Ed and Kathy Sjonell
(We're out of state this week, but we'll be with you in our hearts.)

To the Conway family and friends I am truly sorry for your loss. Bob was such a wonderful man. I will always be thankful to him. He hired me as his secretary. He took a chance with me because I didn't have all the experience needed for the job,but he said he just knew I was right for the position! I loved my job and am forever grateful to him for his faith in me. He will be missed.
