Obituary of Carole A. Hennessy

Carole A. Hennessy (nee Muldoon) passed away on January 5, 2018 at home with her loving family. Carole was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, New Rochelle, NY and Saint Elizabeth College in Convent Station, NJ where she received a B.A degree in Sociology. She was a social case worker in Westchester County NY and for Union County NJ. She also was Director of Welfare for the town of Fanwood, NJ. After moving to her home in Bridgewater and raising her family, Carole was a very successful real estate agent and received many awards during her career. Carole is survived by her loving husband, Richard and their four children Elizabeth Cox (Kevin), Berkeley Heights, NJ; Meg Mytelka (Craig), Virginia Beach, VA; Richard Hennessy, Jr, Flemington, NJ and James (Claire) Hennessy, Brick, NJ. Carole is also survived by her sisters Patricia Coughlin, Westchester, NY and Kathleen Muldoon, Cragsmoor, NY as well as thirteen grandchildren. A visitation will be on Tuesday 2:00 pm to 5:00pm and Wednesday 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069. Funeral services will begin on Thursday at 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament RC Church 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge NJ. Memorial donations may be made in her loving memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
