Obituary of Marie Evans

Marie (Inacio) Evans, age 86, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at JFK Hospital in Edison. Born in South River, she had lived in Newark and Irvington before moving to North Plainfield 8 years ago. Marie had worked as a Print Inspector for Allstate Legal Supply Company in Cranford for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home and family and was a very devoted catholic. Survived by her sons Anthony and Michael Evans; grandchildren Jasmine and Joshua Evans and her sister Irene Vargo. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 9-11 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by an 11 a.m. service. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Woodbridge.
