Aunt Marie was a loving and thoughtful woman, who played a supporting role in the lives of everyone she knew. She helped me to transition from sheltered college life to independent adulthood, giving me a home and her trust at a time it was most needed. Later on, she was a confidante and occasional advisor. I will always be grateful for having had her in my life.
